The Kg. Hakka Mantin, in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, is a significant Malaysian historical and cultural landscape. This wooden village is over a century old and its early inhabitants fist worked in tin mining, later rubber plants was introduced and more recent fruit farming and palm oil plantations are the main industries. It was at one time a community of over three hundred homes and the remaining villagers have been living there for more than six generations. This community and their homes are now in danger of demolition due to irregular and unjust state and private real estate development. The villages are putting up resistance and demanding their right to stay in their traditional village.
