About 30 Japanese academics and researchers from the 9 International Conference of Asian Arts Management in Malaysia 2014, visited Kg Hakka on 15.12.14. The Kampung Hakka Mantin ????? were honoured by their interest. Rakan Mantin group had an interesting exchange with the visitors and show them round the place and the community.

On 10 December, International Human Rights Day, 2014, Rakan Mantin were among the six nominees, nominated by public members, for the Suaram Human Rights Award . The others were Dapur Jalanan, The Transgender Community of Seremban, Sisters in Islam, Persatuan Mahasiswa Universiti Malaya 2013/2014, and Teoh Beng Hock Trust for Democracy. We’re proud to be among just minded friends.

Kg Hakka coming to Kuala Lumpur
